RSVP ❤︎ ACCOMMODATIONS ❤︎ CEREMONY ❤︎ REGISTRY

We’re getting married in front of god and everyone at 5 pm on Saturday, August 2 2014, with reception to follow.

The ceremony and reception are at Innisfree, 1420 Sullivan Drive NW, Gig Harbor WA 98335 at the house Nic grew up in. It’s very beautiful there, you’ll see. We’ve decided on August 2nd to ensure as much as possible that we’ll have good weather, but it’s the Pacific NW so while it’s extremely likely that it’ll be 80 degrees and sunny in August, there’s always a chance it’ll be rainy/overcast/a little windy/have a stupid hipster mustache, etc. While we appreciate that people like to dress up for weddings (I myself considered multi-colored robes), please dress in layers as we’ll be outside and under tents all day. And don’t forget sunscreen.

Footwear

The ceremony is going to be on the beach (on the actual rocks, at low tide [assuming that tide calculator works, otherwise I guess we should rent hip waders]), and the whole party will be outside on grass and gravel, so PLEASE wear sensible shoes. If you wear high heels (don’t wear high heels) please bring backup flip flops or flats. Getting around the property during the ceremony and reception will include walking on rocks and wet sand, climbing a steep set of stairs from the beach to the reception, dancing and standing around on grass and gravel while holding a vodka tonic.

Transportation

There is, unfortunately, limited parking at the house. To remedy this, we have requisitioned a school bus to drive guests from the Inn at Gig Harbor to the house. You don’t have to be staying at the hotel to park there, and if possible, please do park at the hotel and take the shuttle rather than drive to the house.

Shuttle bus pick up times from the Inn at Gig Harbor to the house – 3:30pm and 4:15pm (the ceremony is at 5pm)

Shuttle bus departure times from the house back to the Inn at Gig Harbor – 10pm and midnight

Reception

There will be hot dogs. That should tell you everything you need to know about the vibe of this party.

But for reals, there’ll be food options for every imaginable diet preference, but only alcoholic beverages.

I kid. There’ll be water. The ocean is RIGHT THERE!
